Julie Wilson is the founder and executive director of the Institute for the Future of Learning, a non-proﬁt organization dedicated to transforming the factory model of education. A graduate of Harvard’s Technology, Innovation and Education Masters program, Wilson has more than 15 years’ experience as a consultant, trainer and coach, and blogs regularly on the future of learning at www.the-iﬂ.org. Her articles have been published on the EdWeek website and the “Futures of School” Reform blog. Originally from Northern Ireland, Wilson moved to the U.S. in 1997 and now lives in the Greater Boston area. She visits Ireland regularly, primarily to check in on her brothers and to spoil her nieces.
