Why do I need to apply to attend TEDxRCP?

Space is limited for this event. The application process ensures that we’re capturing the audience who will both benefit the most and give the most back. We are looking for people who will integrate and act upon what they hear and spread the ideas worth sharing that come from the conference talks.

How will I know if my application has been accepted?

After the application review process is complete, we’ll contact (via e-mail) those whose applications have been accepted. We’ll provide a link to the site for registration and ticket purchase.

How much does it cost to attend?

To cover the event production expenses, tickets will cost $100 (plus taxes and fees) depending upon the type of ticket selected. Lunches can be purchased separately.

Can I invite others to come?

Conference attendance is by invitation and application only.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No. The event is by invite and application only. You won’t be able to get into the event unless the name on the ticket matches your ID.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes. Please show up on time with at least one form of ID and your ticket to the check-in desk. At check-in we will provide you with a badge to enter the event.

What is the refund policy?

This is a volunteer run event and all proceeds go to the event. We cannot refund any ticket for any reason.

Should I plan to also register for lunch?

Yes. All TEDxRCP participants are encouraged to register for lunch as part of the conference experience. Breakout sessions will take place during lunch time and give groups of participants the opportunity to get to know each other better.
