David Shenk is an American writer, lecturer, and filmmaker on genetics, talent and intelligence. He is a national bestselling author of six books, including the 2010 The Genius in All of Us, reviewed by The New York Times as “a deeply interesting and important book” and published on its “Best Sellers Nonfiction” list. As a writer, he’s contributed to National Geographic, Slate, The New York Times, Gourmet, Harper’s, Wired, The New Yorker, The New Republic, The Nation, The American Scholar, National Public Radio and the Public Broadcasting System and has been a correspondent for TheAtlantic.com since 2009. He is a 1988 graduate of Brown University.
